The Hazmat Fusion Center offers both online and in-person training events in order to provide valuable hazmat response information and resources to first responders. Safety is our top priority and it’s crucial that first responders have the information and training they need to respond to hazmat incidents.

Ethanol Emergencies Training

Upon completion of this 2-hour, online course, students will have knowledge related to ethanol and ethanol-blended fuels including the use, chemical and physical characteristics, transportation modes, transfer operations, basics of foam, suggested responder tactics and strategies, and environmental issues.

International Hazmat Response Teams Conference

IAFC's Hazmat Conference provides the latest classroom, hands-on and field trip-based training on what's new in hazmat, covering all aspects of hazmat, including transportation, safety, WMD, gear, terrorism, mass decontamination, bioterrorism and more. The hazmat exhibit floor includes outdoor demonstrations of hazardous materials gear and equipment.
